The TCET Yuvotsava in collaboration with TIMSR and TGBS was held at TCET Gangway and TCET Auditorium on 9th & 10th February, 2026. It was a vibrant cultural gathering that brought together BBA and other TCET students (Semester II & III ) along with faculty members. Conducted in collaboration with sister institutes, the event marked an enriching experience blending tradition, energy, and management learning.
The celebration began with energetic dance performances by the students at the Gangway. This attracted a good crowd of students to involve and feel the vibe of the event. Students also volunteered at the stalls placed in the gangway. They exhibited great leadership skills and teamwork. The event also served as a live platform for experiential learning in planning, coordination, and teamwork, as students managed logistics such as registrations, discipline, music, and stage flow. The evening concluded with a prize distribution for best dancers, best singers in solo performance, group song and fashion show participants, accompanied by cheers and applause. Feedback from participants reflected that the event not only celebrated tradition but also strengthened camaraderie and team spirit.
The Internship Orientation was conducted for BBA students to introduce the relevance of an Internship in skill development. The speaker discussed structured internship opportunities with Youth on the Move, highlighting the importance of experiential learning through social engagement. The speaker explained in detail the roles, responsibilities, reporting structure, and expected learning outcomes, ensuring students understand professional expectations in an NGO environment. Students were provided with insights into a variety of community-based projects such as education support initiatives, environmental awareness drives, digital literacy programs, health and hygiene campaigns, and social media outreach for social causes.
The session also emphasized the development of essential skills like teamwork, communication, leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving while contributing meaningfully to society through real-world projects.
The session on Preparation for an Interview focused on equipping students with the essential skills and confidence required to perform effectively in job interviews. The session begins with guidance on creating a professional and well-structured Resume format, highlighting key sections such as personal details, career objective, educational qualifications, skills, internships, and achievements. Emphasis is placed on clarity, relevance, and customization according to job roles.
In addition, the speaker provided guidance to students on interview etiquette, including proper dress code, punctuality, body language, communication skills, and professional behaviour during both offline and online interviews. Students were given guidance on how to introduce themselves, answer questions confidently, and maintain a positive attitude.
Overall, the session provided important insights on enhancing employability by developing both technical competence and professional presentation skills among students.
The Industrial visit to Calyx Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals provided the students with practical exposure to the functioning of a leading chemical manufacturing organization. During the visit, students observed various stages of production, quality assurance processes, and safety protocols followed in the plant.
The visit also included an interaction session with industry professionals, the HR Manager, Production Supervisor and the CEO of the company. The students could understand real-world business practices, operational challenges, production techniques, SOP, and industry expectations. This experience helped students to connect classroom concepts with industrial applications and develop a deeper understanding of management practices in the manufacturing sector
The orientation session was organized to help students of FYBBA to transition into Semester–II by aligning their academic learning with industry expectations and future career goals.
The first session on “Building Clarity and Industry Readiness through Management Education” was conducted as part of the Semester–2 orientation to help students understand the importance of management studies in shaping their careers. It focused on providing clarity about academic expectations, skill development, and the role of management education in enhancing employability and professional growth.
The speaker also discussed the importance of Personality Development and knowledge acquired through reading about various developments in the business environment for various industries. The second session on “Future of Business with Reference to Technology and Strategy” highlighted how modern businesses are evolving with the integration of technology and strategic decision-making. It provided insights into emerging trends such as digital transformation and innovation, encouraging students to adapt, think strategically, and prepare themselves for future business challenges.
The session was followed by a Prize Distribution to students who have secured above 90 % attendance.Dr. Manjula Dhulipala, I/C HOD -BBA, presented the prizes to the deserving students to encourage them to keep striving to achieve success in all spheres of their education, with the Institution.
In order to encourage students to enhance their knowledge and awareness with respect to the various subjects taught in the program, a session was conducted by the Library Department faculty. This session was helpful in guiding students to use various Library resources effectively.
Further, a session was conducted by the Examination Department to create awareness about the E -Samarth Portal login process and rules and regulations to be followed by students. Students were encouraged to discuss their concerns regarding login to the portal.
The orientation session was organized to help students of SYBBA to transition into Semester–IV by aligning their academic learning with industry expectations in terms of AI applications.
The session on “Use of AI Tools in Business” was conducted as part of the Semester–IV orientation, to help students understand the importance of AI tools in achieving organizational goals .
The speaker also discussed the various factors to be considered while using an AI tool to improve efficiency and make it relevant to various types of businesses. The session was instrumental in providing knowledge on how modern businesses are evolving with the integration of AI Tools and strategic decision-making. It provided insights into emerging trends such as digital transformation and innovation, encouraging students to adapt, think strategically, and prepare themselves for future business challenges
The Industrial visit to the RBI Monetary Museum was conducted for Students of SYBBA as part of the Experiential Learning component of the curriculum. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts taught in subjects such as Indian Knowledge System.
During the visit, students viewed various exhibits on the origin and evolution of money, ancient and modern coins, currency notes, and the development of the Indian monetary system. They also learned about the roles and functions of the Reserve Bank of India such as currency issue, monetary policy, regulation of banks, and maintenance of financial stability. A documentary film by the Reserve Bank of India was also a feature of the visit. The museum displays and exhibits helped students understand the role of RBI in the evolution of the Indian Financial System.
As part of the experiential learning process, students were encouraged to observe, take notes, and ask questions, based on their learning. The visit not only strengthened their conceptual clarity but also improved their teamwork, communication skills and practical understanding of the Indian banking and monetary system.
A guest session was organized on “Personal Branding for Future Managers” for BBA students. The speaker introduced the concept of self-image and Personal Branding by an individual exercise. Students were asked to prepare their visiting cards in a creative manner. The session focussed on practical, daily habits that shape a strong professional image. The resource person gave an insight into how personal branding can be inculcated in college through punctuality, regular attendance, disciplined classroom behaviour and effective time management for studies, assignments and co-curricular activities. Students will be guided on the importance of creating a LinkedIn profile. The session highlighted the role of daily reading (newspapers, business magazines, books, LinkedIn articles) in building knowledge and a manager-like personality. The speaker discussed how these specific actions together create a credible and career-ready personal brand.
The Diwali Celebration for BBA students was organized to foster cultural appreciation, creativity, and a spirit of teamwork among participants and all the students. The program commenced with a vibrant opening dance by students of SYBBA, that captured the essence of the festival. This was followed by a ramp walk where students confidently showcased their traditional attire.
The event also featured a variety of engaging activities such as singing performances, Passing the Patakha.
Heads Up (a guessing challenge), and the Whisper Challenge, each designed to promote active participation, communication, and collaboration. This was followed by the felicitation of students who achieved laurels in Research Paper Writing ,Sports and various extra curricular activities.
The celebration served as a lively platform for students to display their talents, enhance self-confidence, and build stronger interpersonal interaction skills. The students who were in the organizing team decorated the hall to provide it with a festive look.
The Induction Program for First-Year BBA students was conducted to welcome learners into the academic environment and help them adapt smoothly to college life. Along with orientation on the curriculum, subjects, faculty interaction, and campus guidelines, the program included management games and activities to build communication and teamwork skills among students. To offer business world insights, two expert guest sessions are conducted —The first session was on “Corporate Life – Myth or Reality” ,to give students a practical understanding of workplace culture. The second session was on “Overview of Marketing”, to introduce students to the fundamentals and scope of the business world. Overall, the program sets a strong foundation of confidence, clarity, and professional mindset..
The Zephyr 2025 event, conducted by the TSDW – TCET Student Development Welfare Association, was a grand technical fest themed “Cosmic Gateway.” One of its most engaging and memorable attractions was the Vintage Photobooth, organized by the BBA department students. Conducted from 25th to 27th September 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the photobooth offered participants a nostalgic and creative experience through a beautifully designed retro-themed setup. With vintage décor, classic props, and warm lighting, it allowed students and visitors to relive the old-world charm while capturing joyful moments using instant Polaroids.
The booth enabled attendees to take both solo and group pictures, creating tangible souvenirs that preserved the spirit of the fest. The concept successfully blended creativity, fun, and interactive participation, drawing large crowds throughout the three days. It not only became a favourite spot for clicking pictures but also added a unique and memorable touch to the overall atmosphere of Zephyr 2025.
What made the event even more special was that it was entirely planned and managed by the BBA department students. From designing the setup to handling logistics and sponsorships, the team showcased excellent organization and coordination. They also secured four sponsorships, reflecting their professionalism and initiative. The event helped students enhance their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, while ensuring everyone left with cherished memories — making the Vintage Photobooth a true highlight of Zephyr 2025.
A guest session on Entrepreneurship –from idea to execution was conducted to enable students to learn about an Entrepreneurial mindset, which involves creativity, resilience, and a proactive attitude toward solving problems. Entrepreneurship is not just about having an idea; it’s about having the determination to bring it to life despite challenges. The session covered how to manage a business, from understanding financial basics to scaling the venture. Students were given an insight on networking skills and building the right team which is crucial for success.
Additionally, the session covered the importance of staying ahead in a constantly changing business environment by Innovation and adaptability
The session concluded with a question and answer round and interaction with the speakers. The session enabled students to learn about the right entrepreneurial mindset, which involves creativity, resilience, and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
The Hindi Diwas Celebration was organized to highlight the importance of Hindi as a language of national identity and cultural pride. The event began with an opening speech underscoring the historical significance of Hindi Diwas and the need to preserve and promote the language in professional as well as social contexts.
The event featured a Hindi poetry recitation session by students and faculties which were creative and well presented. A debate provided a platform for critical thinking and articulation, where teams discussed contemporary issues related to the usage and development of Hindi. To add an element of learning, a quiz competition was conducted covering Hindi literature, grammar, and writing ability.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging the enthusiastic participation of students, the encouragement of faculty, and the collective effort that made the event successful. Overall, the Hindi Diwas celebration not only promoted linguistic pride but also enhanced students’ communication, creativity, and teamwork skills.
The orientation was conducted for SYBBA students to familiarize students with the meaning and objective of GEPT training, to the BBA students. The students were asked to reflect on the need for the training for them. The with a strong focus on communication-based modules such as verbal ability, group discussions, resume writing, and personal interviews.
The session emphasized the importance of effective communication in building confidence, enhancing employability, and succeeding in placement opportunities, with guidance from industry experts and training partners. Students were asked to submit a SWOT Analysis of themselves to identify the aspects where training is required for them to project themselves effectively in a work environment.
A Debate Competition was organized for the second year BBA students on World Population Day to engage students in a thoughtful discussion on the issues related to population growth and its impact on Environment and the economy.
Participants presented arguments both in favour and against the motion, highlighting various perspectives on economic development, environmental impact, resource management, and societal challenges. The event aimed to promote awareness, analytical thinking, and effective communication among students. It also provided a platform to express views on global concerns and encouraged responsible citizenship and solution-oriented thinking.
The criteria for evaluation were Argument and Strength, Counterarguments, Presentation and Team Coordination, Business Examples, Time adherence, Overall Impact. The topics were as follows:

An Orientation programme was organized for second year BBA students to welcome them to the next academic year.An interactive orientation session was conducted by Mr. Nikhil Mhaskar focusing on careers in the finance sector and corporate functions. The session provided in-depth exposure to job opportunities and clarified student doubts related to the field.
A key highlight was the engaging role-play activity where students were divided into teams, assigned different companies and roles, and tasked with exploring various corporate functions through simulated tasks. This provided hands-on experience and deepened their understanding of organizational dynamics.
Additionally, a management quiz was organized to test and reinforce knowledge across marketing, finance, and other business domains in a fun, competitive format.The event also featured an opening speech, a detailed guest introduction, and a formal vote of thanks appreciating the contribution of the speaker, faculty, and students.
An Orientation programme was organized for second year BBA students to welcome them to the next academic year. An interactive session on stress management was organized to enhance their skills in maintaining mental well-being in academic and professional environments. The program explored common stressors and their psychological and physiological effects, emphasizing evidence-based coping mechanisms to improve concentration, productivity, and emotional resilience. Students were introduced to techniques such as mindfulness, time management, and relaxation exercises designed to reduce stress and promote overall wellness.
Students actively participated in discussions and practical exercises to apply stress management techniques in real-life situations. The session also highlighted the importance of building a strong support network and adopting a balanced lifestyle to sustain mental health. This initiative aimed to foster a supportive learning environment that promotes holistic development, enabling students to navigate pressure confidently and maintain optimal performance and well-being.
