Workshop on Digital marketing with Applications of AI


The Marketing Department of Thakur College of Engineering & Technology MBA organized a 1 and ½ day Workshop on Digital Marketing with applications of AI for MBA Sem II students on 27th and 28th March 2026 to explore them to various tools and applications of Digital Marketing. Providing hands-on experience in digital marketing equips students with practical skills that go far beyond theoretical understanding.

In today’s fast-evolving digital landscape, it is essential for learners to actively engage with tools, platforms, and real-time data to develop industry-relevant competencies.


Workshop on Equity Research


TCET MBA organized an engaging Equity Research Workshop for TCET MBA Finance students to enhance their practical understanding of financial markets and investment analysis. The session aimed to provide students with industry-oriented insights into equity valuation and financial analysis used by professional analysts. The workshop was conducted by an esteemed industry expert Mr. Rishabh Kale, Founder-RK Advisory & MentorNext RK LLP, who began by introducing the fundamentals of equity research, including the role of equity analysts, market dynamics, and the importance of fundamental analysis in investment decision-making. Through real-world case examples and live market illustrations, participants gained exposure to the process of evaluating companies, interpreting financial ratios, and guidelines on how to prepare equity research reports. The speaker also highlighted emerging trends in capital markets, the impact of macroeconomic factors on stock valuation, and the importance of data-driven decision-making.

Students actively participated in discussions and practical demonstrations, which helped strengthen their analytical thinking and investment research skills. The workshop emphasized the competencies required for careers in investment banking, equity and financial research. Overall, the session successfully bridged academic learning with industry practices, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of equity research processes and enhancing their readiness for finance-related roles.



Yuvotsav 2026: A Grand Beginning of Unity and Celebration


On February 9th and 10th 2026, Yuvotsav 2026 commenced with grandeur, marking the culmination of weeks of meticulous planning. The event commenced with a flawless inauguration ceremony graced by a renowned internet comedian as the Guest of Honour, along with the legendary editor Ms. Archana Jain and noted actor Mr. Arya Mahajan as Chief Guests. The occasion was further elevated by the presence of Mr. Terrence Lewis on Day 2. With a team of volunteers and students of TEG under faculty leadership, The event coordinated guest management, ensured the smooth flow of the program, and supervised cultural performances and competitions. The overwhelming response from participants and audiences reflected the success of our collective efforts, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration


Decoding Union Budget 2026 on the theme “Yuva Shakti-driven growth"


TCET MBA organized a panel discussion on “Decoding Union Budget 2026” on 6th February 2026 in collaboration with TGBS under the Thakur Education Group umbrella, centered on the theme “Yuva Shakti-driven Growth.” The session provided a comprehensive analysis of the Union Budget 2026, highlighting key policy measures aimed at empowering India’s youth through skilling, entrepreneurship, innovation, employment generation, and digital transformation, while examining their broader implications for fiscal policy, sectoral performance, and sustainable economic development. The discussion featured insights from industry and academic experts, offering students and professionals a platform for critical engagement, deeper financial understanding, and informed reflection on national economic strategy.



Guest Session with Industry Expert for MBA Orientation Program


On January 22, 2026, TCET's MBA program held a guest session on Career Growth, Internships & Employability. After introductions, Mr Sunil Kumar spoke on “ Developing Skills and facing interviews, preparing for interviews for internships, to be well groomed and confident to step into the corporate world. “The event concluded with a vote of thanks and provided valuable industry insights for students.



Orientation Program on Skills & Competencies for Early-Career Managers


The MBA Department of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET), Mumbai, organized an Orientation Program for MBA Semester II students (Batch 2025–2027) to introduce students to the academic expectations and learning approach for the upcoming semester. The program aimed to familiarize students with the academic structure, institutional guidelines, and overall academic journey at TCET. The highlight of the session was an insightful guest lecture by Mr. Milind Rane on “Skills & Competencies for Early-Career Managers. “During the session, he shared valuable perspectives on professional behaviour, workplace readiness, leadership qualities, and essential competencies required for young management professionals. The orientation provided students with clarity about their academic journey and motivated them to develop a strong professional mindset for their future careers.

Induction Program for MBA


The MBA induction program at TCET was held on September 12-13, 2024, welcoming new students and introducing them to the curriculum and faculty. Day one featured a warm welcome from Team MBA along with a guest session on Personal Branding for Excellence. Day two included an in-depth curriculum discussion along with an interactive SWOC session promoting self-reflection. Overall, the program laid a strong foundation for the students' MBA journey.


Guest Session with Industry Experts for MBA students


On September 28, 2024, TCET's MBA program held a guest session on Marketing and Finance. After introductions, Mr. Pragnesh Kantharia spoke on "Current Trends in Marketing," followed by Ms. Payal Vyas Thakkar on "Strategies for Success - Upskilling to Thrive." The event concluded with a vote of thanks and resumed regular lectures, providing valuable industry insights for students.


Alumni Speak with TCET Alumni Mr. Manvendra Pratap Singh


On October 26, 2024, TCET Alumni hosted a workshop for MBA students with guest speaker Mr. Manvendra Pratap Singh, AVP-Process Consultant at HSBC. He discussed the VUCA framework—Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity—and its importance in modern business. The interactive session included discussions, brainstorming, and real-world case studies. Students developed critical insights aimed at improving their adaptability and driving innovation, which are vital for thriving in today’s ever-evolving business landscape.


Nesco Visit AarthaGenix Expo (Time for Financial Literacy)


The AarthaGenix Expo, held on October 18-19, 2024, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, is India’s largest financial literacy event. It aims to enhance financial knowledge through engaging seminars and expert speakers. MBA students, who registered in advance, participated in sessions covering investment strategies, financial planning, and risk management, supported by over 18 financial institutions, including Upstox, NSE, BSE, NISM, Sharekhan, Aditya Birla, Kotak Securities, and HDFC Securities. MBA students gained valuable insights into financial skills and market understanding, essential for their professional development.


Basics Of Stock Trading & Investing


An insightful session on the "Basics of Stock Trading & Investing" with Milan Bavishi, Director-Content at Upstox. This event was organized by TCET on 16th November 2024.

Guest Session - Ms. Poonam Ojha


The MBA guest session program conducted on 6th January 2025 by Ms. Poonam Ojha with Orientation for Sem II for MBA Students on title Taming the Elephant in the room- Identifying and overcoming the corporate communication challenge. It embodies a transformative educational approach that bridges the critical gap between academic theory and industry practice, while fostering comprehensive professional development. Through structured interactions with industry executives and corporate leaders, the program delivers real-world insights, current market trends, and practical case studies, enhanced by the innovative "Taming the Elephant" methodology for tackling complex business challenges.


The program's strength lies in its holistic development framework, encompassing communication competencies, cultural awareness, and interpersonal effectiveness, supported by personalized development plans and specialized training modules. By facilitating direct engagement with business leaders, offering valuable mentorship opportunities, and maintaining regular assessment checkpoints, the program ensures participants develop into well-rounded professionals equipped with enhanced decision-making capabilities, strengthened leadership skills, and expanded professional networks.

Guest Session - Mr. Raj Mehta


The Digital Marketing Mastery workshop attracted 85 MBA students and was led by guest speaker Mr. Raj Mehta, Digital Marketing Head at TechCorp Solutions.The session was on 7th January, 2025 title Digital Marketing Mastery- From Basics to Brilliance and covered SEO fundamentals, social media analytics, and performance measurement through practical exercises and real-time campaign analysis. Participants engaged in team-based activities, developing digital marketing strategies for actual business scenarios while gaining hands-on experience with industry tools.

The workshop received highly positive feedback, with attendees praising its practical approach and industry relevance. Future recommendations include more hands-on practice and coverage of emerging trends, setting a strong foundation for future specialized sessions in the MBA curriculum.


MSSIDC'S 3 Days Certification RAMP Program


The Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation Limited (MSSIDC) successfully implemented the Certification course of Raising & Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Program for MBA students from 8th January 2025 to 10th January, 2025 as , serving as the State Nodal Agency for MSME development. The program effectively bridged academic learning with practical industry requirements through comprehensive training in financial management, leadership skills, and export-import procedures.

Through interactive case studies and hands-on learning experiences, participants gained crucial insights into teamwork, time management, and marketing strategies. The program's structured approach, combining theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, successfully prepared students for addressing MSME operational challenges while contributing to their professional development as future business leaders in the MSME sector. Key achievements included enhanced understanding of MSSIDC's role, practical application of core business modules, and development of essential business competencies through real-world scenario analysis.


Online Guest Session - Dr. Jinal Shah


The Healthcare Industry Insights Seminar conducted on 18th January 2025 by Dr. Jinal Shah for MBA Students on "Current Trends in Healthcare Industry and Job Opportunities for MBA Students in Healthcare Industry." It showcases healthcare's digital transformation during 2024-2025, emphasizing AI, cybersecurity, and digital innovation creating diverse career paths for MBA graduates. The program examines career opportunities in digital health platform management, AI implementation, cybersecurity administration, and telemedicine operations, supported by significant technological growth including blockchain technology's 63.3% CAGR through 2030.

By addressing industry challenges while highlighting opportunities in healthcare technology management, the program ensures MBA students understand potential career paths in this evolving sector. This approach provides MBA candidates with insights into the expanding job market in digital health solutions and emerging roles in modern healthcare management.


Experiential Learning - BSE Visit


The Bombay Stock Exchange Educational Visit on 21st January 2025 provided MBA students with hands-on exposure to "Understanding Indian Capital Markets and Trading Operations." Through interactive sessions with BSE officials and live trading floor observations, students explored the exchange's advanced technological infrastructure, including AI-driven systems and real-time analytics.

The visit showcased BSE's state-of-the-art trading platform, which processes 400 million orders daily with 6-microsecond response times, alongside emerging trends like blockchain integration and algorithmic trading. With BSE's market capitalization at ₹390.7 trillion, students gained practical insights into modern market operations, regulatory frameworks, and fintech innovations, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world trading environments.


Charkha to Chatbot (Gandhiji v/s AI)


The MBA Department of TCET organized a thought-provoking event “Charkha to Chatbots” on 1st October 2025 at Seminar Hall 1 to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti with an innovative theme. The event witnessed the participation of MBA students and faculty members. The highlights included a Digital Flyer Competition, where Semester I students creatively showcased Gandhian values aligned with modern technological transformations, and a Debate Competition on “Gandhiji vs AI”, where students debated the relevance of ethics, values, and sustainability in the age of artificial intelligence. The event successfully blended tradition with modernity, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and ethical awareness among students.


Diyas and Deals and Guest Session on Pros and Cons of Social Media Marketing


The MBA Department of TCET organized an engaging two-part event on 15th October 2025 for Semester I students, featuring a guest session on “Pros and Cons of Social Media Marketing” by Ms. Krinal Donda, followed by “Diyas and Deals”, a Diwali-themed entrepreneurial activity inspired by Shark Tank. The session enriched students’ understanding of digital branding and influencer marketing, while the festive segment fostered creativity, teamwork, and practical application of management concepts through diya designing and live pitching to judges.


IFTA 2025: Fintech Innovation & Industry Analysis


Students and faculty of TCET MBA participated in the prestigious India FinTech Awards (IFTA) 2025 held at Aurika Hotel, Mumbai, gaining first-hand exposure to India’s rapidly evolving fintech ecosystem. The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, academicians, and policymakers to deliberate on the future of financial technology in India. Students explored cutting-edge domains including AI-driven WealthTech, LendingTech, RegTech, InsurTech, Payments, and API-driven financial systems through live innovation demonstrations. A key highlight was the strategic session by Hiren Dharmshi, who shared valuable insights on investment cycles, risk management, and the integration of human judgment with AI-powered systems. Panel discussions on AI-powered wealth management, embedded finance, UPI credit innovation, alternative-data-based lending, and regulatory expectations around AI and data governance deepened students’ understanding of emerging financial technologies.

The Fintech Olympiad segment showcased India’s top fintech talent from premier institutions, reinforcing the growing importance of fintech skills in the modern workforce. The networking interactions with industry professionals further enhanced students’ awareness of career pathways in AI/ML, risk analytics, embedded finance, RegTech, WealthTech, and fintech product management. Overall, participation in IFTA 2025 provided TCET MBA students with comprehensive industry exposure and valuable insights into the technological and strategic transformation shaping India’s financial landscape


Online Induction MBA 2025-27 Batch


The MBA Induction Program for Batch 2025–27 was held at TCET from 12th–15th September 2025, welcoming 140 students and 12 faculty members. Day 1 featured a reflective SWOT session by internal faculties, Day 2 included an insightful talk by Dr. Rajiv Ghatne, and Day 3 concluded with an inspiring session by Ms. Vinoda Desai. The program successfully blended self-awareness with industry insights, laying a strong foundation for the MBA journey.


TEG Navratri Celebration 2025 (TCET MBA)


On September 29th, 2025, TCET MBA hosted its Navratri Celebration at the TCET Gangway from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from MBA Semester I and III students along with faculty members. The evening was filled with energy, rhythm, and cultural vibrancy as students and faculty came together to celebrate the festive spirit of Garba and Dandiya, reflecting the institute’s ethos of unity and celebration.



Experiential Learning – A Visit at Bharat Recycling show at Nesco


On 15th November 2025, MBA Sem I students of TCET participated in an industrial visit to the Bharat Recycling Show held at NESCO Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The visit provided valuable exposure to India’s rapidly evolving recycling and sustainability ecosystem. Students explored advanced technologies in plastic recycling, e-waste management, metal recovery, and circular economy solutions showcased by leading industry players. Interactions with professionals and exhibitors offered practical insights into sustainable business models, environmental compliance, regulatory frameworks, and green supply chain practices. The experience enabled students to connect classroom concepts with real-world industrial applications, strengthening their understanding of sustainability-driven management and emerging opportunities in the recycling and environmental sector.
