Industry Practices (IP)
To address industry demands and bridge the gap between academia and professional expectations, TCET's Training & Placement (T&P) Cell introduced a 1-credit course in 2019-20. Designed as a 40-hour program, it features industry experts as primary trainers, while faculty members support doubt-solving, evaluation, and assessment. The course is mandatory for all students, ensuring they acquire essential skills aligned with industry needs. To maintain transparency and accountability, structured evaluations assess students' knowledge, competencies, and attributes through an objective binary evaluation system.
With the revised curriculum under autonomy in 2023, the course evolved into Industry Practices (IP), focusing on technical training to prepare students for industry roles, particularly as full-stack developers. Delivered over one week, the training culminates in evaluations to assess students' readiness and competence, ensuring they meet professional expectations and enhance their employability.

Practices (IP)
- To improve students’ programming skills and develop proficiency in full-stack web development.
- To learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Python programming, along with advanced techniques for frontend and backend development.
- To enable students to develop web applications using HTML and CSS.
- To create and debug software applications using the Python programming language.
- To meet industry expectations by developing skills in web toolkits, development environments, version control, collaboration, and project management.
