R & D Initiatives

R&D cell takes multiple initiatives on various level for holistic development Initiatives are categorised as

Institute level :

• Establishment of dedicated R&D cell with operational hours from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on all working days and vacation period.
• Arranged workshops on multiple technologies for students and FDP for faculty members
• Encouraged faculty and students for good quality publication in international conference and journals
• Collaboration with National and multinational corporate and establishment of Centre of Excellence
• Development of additional learning facilities like IITB Aakash lab, IITB E Yantralab,FOOS
• All the faculty members and students are divided into various domain & various activities initiated for domain strengthening
• For selection of good project an institute level Mind’S Eye project competition started from 2014.

Mumbai University level:

• Faculty members are encouraged to apply for Minor research grant.
• participation in “Avishkar” research convention - State level
• Students participation in project competition “Sanshodhan ”pune University
• Students participated in “Avishkar” on State level and got medals
• Faculty members are selected as jury members by IET for state level project competition.

National level

• Application to AICTE Grants
• IEDC ,DST, Government of India
• Association with IIT Bombay for

International level
