TCET's - Green Club
TCET’s Green Club is established in August 2023, is a welcoming community that embraces individuals with a strong passion for environmental advocacy and sustainable living. It emphasizes the importance of practical engagement in promoting eco-consciousness within the campus and the broader community.
TCET’s Green Club activities include organizing campaigns, workshops, and projects focused on environmental conservation, water conservation, waste management, biodiversity conservation, energy conservation and the promotion of green practices. Through these efforts, the TCET’s Green Club aims to foster a deep understanding of environmental issues and empower members to be proactive agents of change for a sustainable future.

Objectives
- To promote environmental awareness and sustainability among students and the broader community.
- To organize and participate in activities that reduce the environmental impact of the campus.
- To understand the concept of water footprint and carbon footprint.
- To encourage the adoption of sustainable practices in daily life through daily activities, workshops and events.
Outcomes
- Members will have the opportunity to actively engage with the community and contribute positively.
- Members can acquire valuable knowledge and skills through participating in various educational initiatives and workshops.
- Members will measurable reduction in the campus’s carbon footprint and waste generation.
- Members will have the chance to gain practical experience, enabling them to make a tangible difference in environmental conservation efforts.
