Any In-house seat for Thakur College students?
No, it is open for all candidates through CET/JEE-Mains score.

Do All India candidates and Maharashtra candidates need to fill different forms?
No, a single application form is sufficient for all candidates.

Can I take admission at institute level without filling the application form?
No, it is compulsory to fill the application form and get it verified and confirmed from any FC/SC.

What document is required for Type C?
Proforma A along with Transfer Order and joining letter.

Is a caste certificate from other states valid?
No, only Maharashtra State caste certificates are considered valid.

If PCM marks are less than 45% for Open category, am I eligible?
Marks of Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects (if taken in 12th) can be considered. However, 45% is the minimum required to be eligible.

Is it compulsory to fill the application form to take admission?
Yes, without the application form, you cannot participate in CAP or Institute Level admission.

If I opt for TFWS seat, can I also apply for regular seats?
Yes. To avail TFWS benefits, give preference to TFWS seats first, followed by open seats.

What proof is required for Linguistic/Religious Minority benefits?
Linguistic Minority: Mother tongue mentioned in leaving certificate or Proforma "O".
Religious Minority: Religion mentioned in leaving certificate or Proforma "O". -
Where can I get the EWS certificate?
From the Tehsildar office of Maharashtra.
Note: Central Govt. EWS certificate is not accepted. -
Is Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate compulsory?
Yes, and it must be valid till 31st March 2024. Receipt of NCL is accepted only if approved by Admission Authority Cell.

Is Aadhar card valid for nationality proof?
No. Accepted documents: Passport, Birth Certificate, College Leaving Certificate (mentioning Nationality), or Domicile Certificate.

Who is eligible under Type A?
Students who completed both 10th & 12th in Maharashtra and have a domicile/birthplace in Maharashtra.

Who is eligible under Type B?
Students who did either 10th or 12th outside Maharashtra but have a domicile of either the candidate, father, or mother in Maharashtra.
