
Eligibility for Under Graduate (UG) programme in various categories is stated below:
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics AND Secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
Obtained a non-zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET.

Candidate should have a valid AIEEE Score (i.e. total score should be positive) for the year 2011-12.
Eligibility criteria of candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology and seeking admission to First Year Engineering/Technology (Institute Level Seats/Vacant seats after completion of CAP Round)
Diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction is English from the Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnics situated inside/outside the State of Maharashtra (for Outside Maharashtra State Candidates).

Secured minimum 45% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together).
Notes:- All the HINDI speaking candidates have to submit an AFFIDAVIT on Rs.100/- Non-Judicial Stamp paper solemnly affirming that they belong to HINDI speaking Community. The application will be summarily rejected without such an affidavit. Affidavit should be notarized.
The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 50.00% marks(45% marks in case of candidate of backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra state) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved institution with English as the medium of instruction at diploma level.
The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed B.Sc Degree from a UGC / Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 50.00% marks ( 45.00% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State ) and passed XII standard examination with Mathematics as the subject and with English as the medium of instruction at B.Sc. Level.
Note:- The students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall only be considered after filling the seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream and students belonging to B.Sc stream are required to pass the subjects of Engineering Graphis/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects.
